Intended Audience:
Individuals who require or desire CPR, AED and First aid knowledge and skills; including emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers parents and babysitters.

Class Hours: Initial Course: 5-6 Hours
Completion Requirements:
Written Exam: Required
Performance Evaluation: All students must perform required skills competently without assistance

Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens (OSHA COMPLIANT)
Target group:
For students and employees who have potential for occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
Prerequisites: CPR/AED First Aid
Crtification Period: 2 Years
Objective: Designed to meet the current OSHA training requirements
Contents:
Bloodborne Pathogens includes supplemental information on airborne pathogens such as tuberculosis. This manual is developed for use within infection control courses offered through the Emergency Care & Safety Institute. Over five million workers in health care related fields are at risk to exposure to bloodborne pathogens, such as the HIV virus and hepatitis B virus. Designed to meet the current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training requirements, Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens, Sixth Edition is designed to teach students and employees how to prepare for potential occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
